Representing Cameroon at the event, Finance Minister Louis Paul Motaze explained the efforts made by The State to streamline Government spending amongst them reforms in public finance management and the digitization of taxation, customs and treasury services.
Other issues raised include preserving debt sustainability while investing in development projects, the risks associated with collateral borrowing and transparency of statistics.
The Paris forum acts as a bridge between lenders and borrowers with the aim of facilitating access to sovereign funding mechanisms.
