The new Director General of the Kikot-Mbebe Hydro Power Company (KHPC), Christophe Avognon, is set to begin work.

He was installed this 28th May 2024 by the Minister of Water Resources and Energy, Gaston Eloundou Essomba at the end of the sixth session of the Board of Directors of the company.

The French national, steps into the shoes of his compatriot, Marlene Biessey who was Director General of the company from September 2023 when the project became a company. She had however been the head of the project since its start.
