The diplomat transmitted a congratulatory message from his country’s head of parliament on the successful organization of the 51st session of the Parliamentary Assembly of la francophonie which was held in Yaoundé.
Spin-offs from that gathering which brought together over 400 delegates from French speaking parliaments, including Equatorial Guinea, centered around multilateralism and state sovereignty and the convergence of efforts to mitigate effects of climate change.
The officials also discussed pathways to engage in parliamentary diplomacy, while exploring new avenues in existing cooperation between the two countries, dwelling mostly on Trade.
