The importance of sports for health and well-being was highlighted by FECAFOOT President, Samuel Eto’o Fils after watching Minister Paul Atanga Nji play a 123-minute tennis.
The Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji called on youths to practice sports in order to build their endurance, discipline and sportsmanship.
He was speaking after a tennis encounter watched by FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto’o Fils and Minister Delegate at the Presidency of the Republic in charge of Relations with Parliaments, Wakata Bolvine who is also a tennis player.
The clash between the African Tennis Champion in the Veterans category, Minister Paul Atanga Nji against Cameroon’s number three in tennis encounter at the Golgotha Tennis Club in Yaounde was watched by former Cameroonian tennis champions since the 80s who saluted the endurance and performance of the Minister who played the entire match with drinking or taking a break.
