#MTNEliteOne2024: Colombe and Gazelle with Eleven points each after Advanced Day-6

With a 1-0 win over Stade Renard of Melong, the 2024 winners of the cup of Cameroon, Colombe Sportive of the Dja and Lobo are now the leaders on the standings of the ongoing 2024/2025 MTN Elite championship with three victories in five outings making a total of 11 points


After imposing a 1-0 win over visiting Astres of Douala at the Roumde Adjia stadium in Garoua on day-5, Gazelle Football Academy temporary controlled the standings with a total of 10 points in five outings at the ongoing 2024/2025 MTN Elite One

In other day-5 matches  Monday, December 30, 2024 AS Fortuna imposed a 2-0 win over visiting  Union of Douala in a  delayed  match Ngoa Ekelle stadium. 

Meanwhile visiting Dynamo FC defeated Canon Sportif of Yaounde 2-0 to move to the 4th position 8 points in five games while Canon stayed at the 6th position of the classification table

On Tuesday, December 31 at the Ngoa  Ekelle stadium, Colombe Sportive of Dja and Lobo played host to Stade Renard of Melong at 3:30 pm on the last day five fixture, and ended up winning 2-0 to seal the deal at the top spot with 11 points 

Meantime reigning champs, Victoria United alias Opopo stands tall as the second best on day-5 with ten point just like Gazelle at the first place after separating with PWD of Bamenda on a 3-1 win Mbouda Municipal stadium. 

Bamboutos of Mbouda commonly known as Mangwa Boys on her part held visiting Fauve Azur on a goalless draw in the first match here at the Mbouda Stadium

Panthere Sportive of the Nde and Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda also played a 1-1 at the Bamendzi Stadium in Bafoussam 

Over at the Roumde Adjia in Garoua , Coton Sport defeated visiting Aigle of the Moungo 2-1 in the first confrontation here while Gazelle humbled Astres of Douala 1-0 in the second clash of the day.

In the inferior league referred to as MTN Elite Two, Bafmeng United of Menchum recorded the biggest win on the  match day-3 action with a 4-0 victory over  Djiko of Bandjoun. Ngoketunjia FC on the  other end defeated Yafoot of 2-0.

Unisport of Bafang defeated Dragon FC of Douala 3-0 Racing of Bafoussam played a 2-2 draw with Apejes of Mfou , Aigle Royal of the Menoua were also held to a 1-1 draw by Fovu of Baham. 

AS Fap of Yaounde played an all one tie with Union Sportive of Abong Mbang. At the  Centenary stadium in Limbe,  Isohsa were held to a goalless draw  by Eding Sport of the Lekie. 

In an advanced day-6 match Coton Sport of Garoua separated with Astres on an one score leaving the two clubs on 9 and 7 points respectively 

Gazelle hosted Aigle to another 1-1 game still at the Roumde Adjia Stadium in Garoua. Gazelle now counts 11 points just like Colombe at the first position while Aigle can only boost of three points in six outings at the ongoing championship
