Various state dignitaries and artists gathered this 11th January, 2024 to extend their heartfelt New Year wishes to Chantal Biya, the First Lady of Cameroon, at the Unity Palace.
The event highlighted the cultural riches and artistic talent present in the country, with a blend of music, dance, and sincere messages.
Musical Performances
Artists from different parts of the country, answered present at the event, dressed in stunning outfits that reflected their unique styles.
Artists such as Prince Aime, Ben Martins, Lynda Raymonde, Marole Tchamba, Shey Lontum, Toto Guillaume, Tsimi Torro, Stanley Enow, Sam Mbende, Tonton Ebogo, François Misse Ngoh, and many others graced the occasion in a warm and convivial atmosphere.
Each artist took to the rostrum, to convey their best wishes for the year through beautiful and heartwarming melodies, including Prince Aime’s hit song “Viviane” which received much applause.
The musicians mesmerized the audience with a mix of traditional and contemporary pieces, celebrating Cameroonian culture and setting a festive tone for the occasion.
From Bikutsi to Makossa, Afro pop music and entertainment from the live band, the performances not only provided entertainment but also conveyed messages of hope and unity for the new year.
These artistic pieces also paid tribute to the First Lady’s commitment to promoting culture in Cameroon.
The New Year wishes presented to Chantal Biya were a testament to the unity and cultural richness of the nation, setting a hopeful tone for the new year, 2025.
