Cameroon Paralympic Team 

Cameroon’s talented Paralympics athlete, Thamar Gisèle Mengue, is gearing up to compete in the highly anticipated Para Powerlifting women’s up to 73 kg Final at the La Chapelle Arena in Paris on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11 a.m. local time. This exciting event is part of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which started on August 28 and will end on Sunday September 8, 2024.

So far Mengue and Para high jumper Yves Noe Batifi Loumou are the remaining athletes of team Cameroon who are eager to make their mark in the paralympic games Paris .

The Para Powerlifting event is one of the 20 events scheduled to take place at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena, and it promises to be an exhilarating experience for spectators and athletes alike. With China leading the medal table with 76 medals, followed closely by Great Britain with 43 medals and the USA with 32 medals, the competition is expected to be fierce.

However, Mengue is ready to face the challenge head-on as she is Cameroon’s remaining medal hopeful.
