The Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 has officially kicked off this Sunday with the host country, Morocco winning Comoros by 2-0 in the opening game which kicked off at 8pm in Rabat.
The opening ceremony came a day after the CAF President, Patrice Motsepe announced a number of reforms notably a money increase for the cup winner of the competition, and an increase in the periodicity of the tournament, from 2 years to 4 years.
In the meantime, Cameroon’s indomitable Lions, continued preparations in Agadir where they would play their first match on December 24.
On Sunday, the national team held a training session in the evening at 6:00 PM at the Enza Stadium, located 11 kilometers from downtown Agadir.
Their first training session in Moroccan seaside city took place Saturday, behind closed doors.
Regarding the number of players, the Indomitable Lions squad is now complete with the arrival of Christian Kofane, the player from Bundesliga, called by coach David Pagou.This brings the number of lions to 28.
