Some 395 young Cameroonians have been sent forth from the Multipurpose Youth Empowerment Centre in Madagascar, Yaounde into the world of entrepreneurship this 11th December 2024.
The 395 including 158 women received their end of course certificates in an event presided over by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou.
While cacallinon the laureates to be “Indomitable Lions” in their various fields, the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education encouraged them to make use of all the available opportunities offered by the Government and Ministry.
On their part, the laureates, through their representative, thanked the President of the Republic and Minister Monouna Foutsou for promoting the socioeconomic insertion of youths at the Centre.
They promised to keep working hard towards building a better Cameroon.
The Director of the Centre, Armand Pierre Dominique Mveme Atangana presented a balance sheet, stating that apart from the 395 receiving end-of-course certificates, 16 youths were trained in the domain of automobile licences.
He added that the incubation centres of his Centre were also very active as they financed the projects of many youths.
The Director insisted that the Multipurpose Youth Empowerment Centre in Madagascar is not only there to train youths but also to accompany them. Proof of this, some young people obtained paid jobs thanks to the Centre.
