The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon have beaten the Warriors of Zimbabwe 2-1 to maintain their leadership in group J in the qualifications for the Morocco 2025 African Cup of Nations.
The Indomitable Lions top the group with 14 points while Zimbabwe with 9 has also qualified.
The two goals came in the first half from team captain, Vincent Aboubakar at the 18th minute and Georges Kevin Nkoudou doubled score at the 23rd minute.
During the second half of the game, the Lions wasted several opportunities.
The Zimbabwean side bounced back and got a 73rd minute goal from Dzvukamnja T.
The Indomitable Lions picked an early qualification for the AFCON winning four of their six matches.
At the close of the qualifications series, the lions recorded four victories and two draws, picking up their qualification ticket at the fourth match.
