Cameroonian students interested in studying in France have another orientation opportunity at the 12th edition of SAPEF (Salon pour la Promotion des Études Françaises), a forum aimed at presenting the the offers of the French higher education system.
Opening the forum to run in Yaounde from October 22 to 23, 2024 and Douala from October 25 to 26, 2024, the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Jacques Fame Ndongo, reminded the assembly of the importance of undertaking higher education studies.
He also indicated that the offers from France are varied and parents should take time to peruse the available information on the fair grounds.
On his part, the French Ambassador to Cameroon, Thierry Marchand explained that in line with this year’s theme, “Professionalism and Employability”, the offers from France are able to expose Cameroonian students to entrepreneurship which can be applied upon their return to the country.
At the fair grounds at the Hilton Hotel in Yaounde, youths and their parents and guardians could be seen discussing with representatives of various higher education institutions in France.
It is the hope of the organizers that at the end of this fair, many youths make the decision to pursue their higher education in France.
