The 7th edition of the African Competitive Intelligence Days, JAIE 2024 will hold from 30th to 31st May 2024 in Yaounde on the theme, “The contribution of AI to the perfomance of African public and private actors”.
The event organized by the African Centre for Competitive Intelligence (ACCI / CAVIE) is expected to bring together local and international experts to explore the potential of AI in enhancing the perfomance of African public and private actors.
Unveiling the content of the two-day encounter to pressmen this 23rd May, 2024, the President of the ACCI, Guy Gweth, noted that it will be an opportunity emphasize the need to understand the use and importance of AI in society.
He added that the event will also be forum to showcase the work of some young Cameroonians in the AI sector.
To buttress on the importance of AI, Retired Colonel Roger Kuitche noted that the Cameroonian military also needs AI to be able to face its opponents.
Panel discussions during the two-day event will feature topics like digital transformation of administrations, combatting fraud, entrepreneurship development and AI-related professions amongst others.
JAEI 2024, the organizer says, will enable African public and private actors to discover the latest advancements in AI and how this technology can enhance their performance and competitiveness.
