A total of 350 fresh graduates from IFA Cameroon, a professional training institution in Yaounde are now ready to create jobs, and employ qualified young Cameroonians.
The graduates received end-of-course certificates during a graduation ceremony at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex on April 17, 2023.
The graduates were trained in hotel management, transport and Logistics, customs and transit, taxation, catering, hotel management, audio -visual editing, tourism and hotel management, events management and other disciplines.
During the graduation ceremony, various speakers who took to the podium challenged the graduates to make a difference with the knowledge acquired.
“I’m asking the graduates to leave their comfort zones because it’s not by having a certificate that they are sure to secure a job. They should not lie on their laurels, but get to work immediately.” Fabrice Dogmo, Founder of IFA Cameroon said.
Most of the graduates are leaving the institution with fresh job ideas that will transform them into job creators and employers.
“We have many students who have started projects. we will accompany some of our graduates to implement their projects so that they can be job creators. We will also create a multi-service unit in the institution where we can absorb some young graduates, and groom them a little further till they find their feet in the job market.”
One of the graduates already nurses plans to create a centre to provide adequate care to autistic children.
“ I studied social life auxiliary education. I choose this discipline because I want to start an association which caters for the needs of autistic children and the elderly who are mostly neglected,” Peyou Mariama told Crtv Web.
The graduates now have the responsibility of putting knowledge acquired from school into practice.
