1. A novel on street children in Cameroon launched

A book titled “Petit Jo, enfant des rues” written by Dr Evelyne Mpondi Ngolle has been launched in Yaounde. The novel that has been seen by literary critics as a classical work of art tells the story of abandoned street children, in our country.

During the book signing, critics described “Petit Jo, enfant des rues” as a realistic theme which clearly and in a simple manner exposes the ordeals of street children in Cameroon.

2. Excellence award paid at the University of Maroua

Students of the University of Maroua have been paid the special scholarship granted by the Head of State to encourage academic excellence in state universities.

A total of 168 million francs CFA has been paid to 3.367 students of the university. Similar payment exercises are ongoing in the other state universities.
