Agricultural development: tractor assembly plant imminent in Ebolowa

The first consignment of equipment for the construction of a tractor assembly plant in Ebolowa has been received by the Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Louis Paul Motaze.

The heavy duty equipments that will be used in the construction of a factory for the assembly of tractors and the fabrication of agricultural equipments were received during a ceremony in Ebolowa, capital of the South Region. 

According to the Minister the factory will assembly Tractors and produce agricultural equipments that would in the first place benefit the population of the South Region and the entire country.

The Governor of the South Region, Jules Marcellin Ndjaga, urged the population of the region to take advantage of the giant industrial project to development and modernized their agricultural techniques. He told them to organize themselves in groups and cultivate large portions of land in other to easily have easy to funds and equipments.

The Government Delegate to the Ebolowa city council, Guy Roger Zo’o Olouman used the occasion as ideal opportunity to express the community’s profound gratitude to President Paul Biya.
